An evil cloud has possessed citizens of Planet PopStar, so Kirby must dispel its inky grip from five levels, each comprising six stages and a boss battle. Though Kirby swallows enemies to “copy” one of eight different attack abilities (Broom, Burning, Cutter, Ice, Parasol, Needle, Spark, or Stone), the real interest is in how he gets by with a little help from his friends.
