Awaken 7.2 Brings Full iPhone Duo Support
Awaken 7.2 adds full support for iPhone Duo, along with a roomier Awaken on iPad and more of the app in your language. Fold it to glance at your next alarm, unfold it for a nightstand clock that fills the display, or stand it half-open beside the bed. It’s available now on the App Store.
Made for every pose
iPhone Duo is two iPhones in one, and Awaken 7.2 is at home on both. The clock, your alarms, the sleep timer and your timers all lay themselves out for the screen you’re using, and they follow along when you fold or unfold.
Leave it open on the nightstand and your alarm wakes you on the big display, with the album art, your wake-up message, and plenty of room to reach Snooze.
Everything on the cover screen
With iPhone Duo closed, the cover screen works like a compact iPhone. The clock, the wake screen, your alarms and timers are all there, with the tabs tucked into the bar along the side of the screen.
A nightstand clock that fills the display
Unfold iPhone Duo and the clock grows to fill the large inner display. Your alarms and timers spread into a grid, so the whole week’s alarms fit at a glance.
Room to breathe on iPad
Awaken now picks its layout from the space it has, not the device it’s on. Alarms and timers switch between a list and a grid as you resize a window in Split View or Stage Manager, and the clock and wake screen grow to match.
A bigger clock customizer
On iPad and the unfolded iPhone Duo, the customizer is larger, so each of the 8 clock styles and 18 color themes is easier to judge before you pick it.
More of Awaken in your language
Repeat days, snooze limits, fade-in durations and the names of clock styles and themes now appear in French, Spanish, German, Japanese and Chinese.
A clock that keeps up
Rotate, fold or resize and Awaken rearranges itself on the spot, and the “Next alarm” line always agrees with the time shown above it.
