Introducing the Ultimate Game Guide Game Database

The complete Ultimate Game Guide Game Database is now live on the web: every one of the 817 NES and 793 Super NES games ever released in North America, Europe and Australia, free to browse on any device.

Every box, every cartridge. Each game has its own page with a 3D box you can spin with your mouse or finger, the real cartridge render, every regional variant, and the box art wall you know from the app. Searching is instant: start typing and the database narrows 1,610 titles as you go, with filters for genre, players, year, publisher, developer, rarity, special features and rating.

What is it worth today? Every page shows the current collector value for a loose cartridge, a complete-in-box copy and a sealed one, refreshed every day, next to a rarity meter that runs from very common to extremely rare. Sort an entire library by value or rarity to find the hidden gems and the holy grails, then jump straight to live listings on eBay and Amazon.

A taste of the guide. You will also find the opening of every review, two screenshots per game, the titles of the tips, codes and passwords we have on file, the first Game Genie code, and a sample of the magazine ads, Nintendo Power covers and promotional inserts in the archive. The full reviews, all screenshots, every tip, code and password, the complete media gallery, collection tracking, ratings and want lists live in the app, which remains free to download with the complete guide a one-time purchase per system.

Not sure where to start? Hit Surprise me for a random game, or try the curated rows on the database home: the top-rated games of each generation, the most valuable cartridges, the rarest finds and the hidden gems that still cost less than lunch.
