Based on the Famicom Disk System re-release, this port of the arcade game differs from the NTSC version. While Mario and Luigi still have to bop critters from underneath and then kick them to eliminate them on single-screen levels, this improved version has updated graphics, music, and even nice intermission cutscenes that introduce new enemies.
