Uncharted Waters: New Horizons

A sequel to the Koei seafaring simulation, this game takes place decades later, when the Age of Exploration was well underway. There are six characters to choose from, each with a story and a tendency toward one of three play styles: merchant, pirate, or adventurer. To begin, you control your captain in a top-down view inside their hometown.
