R-Type III: The Third Lightning

This third entry in the popular horizontal shooter series has players once again piloting a powerful fighter ship while battling the evil forces of the BYDO Empire. The R-9 fighters from the previous titles have now been upgraded to the R-90, a ship that’s capable of equipping three different Forces (Round, Shadow, and Cyclone). The player must choose the Force that suits them best before starting the game.
