16 international teams compete to win the Tecmo World Cup in this overhead vertical soccer sim. Pass, shoot, and slide tackle with ease with the simple control mechanics that complement the decent presentation. The players do all look alike, but the goalkeeper is particularly well-animated, as is the 3D effect on the ball. The downside is having to beat all the teams, but thankfully a password system is in place.
