Dig Dug II

Help Taizo Hori clear islands of pesky Pookas and Fygars in this top-down single-screen sequel that deviates quite a bit from the original Namco classic. Taizo has control of his standard pump from the first game and can dispatch enemies by inflating them until they pop. This time around, there is a new drill weapon that is much more satisfying and tricky to use. When certain spots on the playfield are bored into, they create fissures in the ground.
