Embraceware is a Mac and iPhone software development company based in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
Awaken, a digital alarm clock and sleep timer for Mac, was the first application released by Embraceware in 2005. Awaken is updated regularly with new features and improvements and is now at version 4.
In 2009 Embraceware completed it's first application for iPhone and iPod touch, HoloSnaps.

CEO and lead developer at Embraceware. Jerry's entry into programming and design started at the age of 9 with a Commodore VIC-20 and inspiration from games on the Atari 2600 and Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
Experience with web technologies took over in the late nineties and lead to a professional career building web sites and applications.
Learning Cocoa and Xcode started as a hobby in his spare time and in summer of 2005 his first application, Awaken, was released. At that point his hobby turned into Embraceware Software Inc.
Jerry plans to return to his early focus on game development, this time, on the iPhone platform.
Megan was involved with Embraceware from its creation in June of 2005. Having played an integral role in the development of the company's name and logo, she now provides customer service and performs application testing.
In addition to her position at Embraceware Software Inc. she is also a registered nurse. In her spare time, Megan displays an avid interest in the kitchen and enjoys delighting her husband Jerry with her culinary creations.
