Hi, Embraceware
I used to use Aurora for the waking, but I like your fullscreen mode better, so I was trying your Awaken for Mac out, and I sat it to sleep mode and had a bad experience with it. Here's what happened: iTunes playing some ambient music very quietly, but when it had been on for an hour and it was time to fade down, it jumped to maximum volume and faded down from there. And if that wasn't enough, I wasn't able to turn the volume down from my remote.
In my eyes that is two bugs:
1: Before it fades it jumps to the volumesetting set in preferences.
2: The remote are no good
I hope you'll fix it in the version 5 (or maybe already in the current version). And I will have a look at it again. Have a nice day.

Regards Chris.

Will you be releasing an iOS 4.0 Awaken app? I would be terrifically excited if I could run Awaken in the background so I could do other things on my iPhone and still trust Awaken to be my alarm clock. This will be great for traveling.

As always, Awaken is my favorite Mac software. As it stands, the iPhone app leaves something to be desired because of its lack of multitasking, but I hope this might change soon!

Hello, just been looking through this site - love it. The iPhone is definitely changing for the better with the announcement of the iPhone 4 don't you think? I haven't got much money at the moment so looking forward to getting my free iPhone in a week or two. Apparently there aren't many guides for the iPhone 4 yet, I'll be making a few when I have mine - why not come and have a look at my site if you want to use them at all. Martin

I assume Richard means Awaken 5 and in the meantime some more frequent updates to 4. Nice site for starters, though. Looking forward to what's next.

Hi Richard,

I'm sure that you're referring to Awaken 5 when you say 4. Regarding Awaken 5 for Mac - I posted an update on it a few blog posts ago:

"Awaken for Mac version 5 has been in development for a while and was delayed on a few occasions. There was a huge demand for Awaken on the iPhone so we paused Awaken for Mac to accomplish that, and then rewrote it for Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard. You’ll be getting an all-new Awaken for Mac when version 5 is released. Stay tuned for more information. It’ll be a free major update to anyone who has already purchased Awaken."

The code is all super fresh with Awaken 5 - it is far from canned :)

What about Awaken 4? It's been so long since it was first teased at and every day I hope for the fabled update or at least some news. Has it been canned in favour of Awaken for iPhone/touch?
