Update: Beta testing of Awaken 1.3 has concluded and the final version has been sent to Apple for review. Thanks to all of the beta testers!

It’s that time again – a new update for Awaken for iPhone is on the way. Version 1.3 contains over a dozen new enhancements. We would like to conclude testing ASAP so that we can release it for everyone. Anyone who beta tested the last version already has 1.3 – but we’d like to add even more testers.

If you’re interested and are able to test Awaken 1.3 right away please let us know.

As before, here are the steps:

To get started, all you need to do is send your device ID to support@embraceware.com with “Awaken Beta” in the subject line.

You can get your iPhone or iPod touch device ID by doing the following:

  1. Connect your iPhone or iPod touch to your Mac or PC.
  2. On the “Summary” tab in iTunes, click the “Serial Number” label.
You’ll notice “Serial Number” changes to “Identifier”. (sans
    Zelda chime)
  3. Click on “Edit” in the menu at the top and select “Copy”.
  4. Now you can paste the device ID into an email.

We look forward to hearing from you!

We’ve been busy working on updates for all 3 of our apps.

HoloSnapsHoloSnaps for iPhone and iPod touch version 1.0.5 was just sent to Apple for review. It includes an all new app icon and a new preference for toggling UI sounds on/off. It should be available in the App Store within a week.
UPDATE: HoloSnaps 1.0.5 is now in the App Store.
AwakenAwaken for iPhone and iPod touch version 1.3 is near completion and will be sent to Apple for review this coming week. We’ll be posting a list of the new features contained within soon.
AwakenAwaken for Mac version 5 has been in development for a while and was delayed on a few occasions. There was a huge demand for Awaken on the iPhone so we paused Awaken for Mac to accomplish that, and then rewrote it for Mac OS X Leopard and Snow Leopard. You’ll be getting an all-new Awaken for Mac when version 5 is released. Stay tuned for more information. It’ll be a free major update to anyone who has already purchased Awaken.

If you’d like to stay connected to our developments this year – see our subscribe, twitter, and facebook links above.
