Awaken 1.1 brings over a dozen fixes and enhancements.
After the release of Awaken 1.0 we watched our feedback and support lines for comments, questions and concerns and prepared the next release to package everything important that was brought to our attention. Some of the bug fixes were critical to the operation of the application.
Apple’s App Review team took our request to have the App Review process expedited and got it approved and in the store within 4 days (including the weekend) – much less than the usual 2 week wait.

Complete list of changes:
- Shuffle music setting added.
- Screen dimming slider added.
- Fullscreen snooze button.
- Alarm volume overrides silent switch.
- New clock style added.
- Leading zero removed.
- Sound alarms now louder.
- Fixed Podcast support.
- Fixed snooze button issue.
- Fixed stop alarm button issue.
- Fixed 24 hour clock mode.
- Fixed alarm creation issues.
- Fixed volume and brightness fading.

You guys should collaborate with Apple’s “Remote” App so we can control the Awaken program on our Mac from bed via wireless network if it’s far away. The Mac remote works well, but having the ability to choose specific songs and hitting an actual “snooze” button in the morning would be beneficial.
Hi Dan,
We’re going to be extending the iPhone app to communicate with a future version of Awaken for Mac which will accomplish what you’re looking for.
What are “chained alarms”?
