We’re busy working on Awaken 4.1 which is a major update and often times I bounce ideas off of people I know on my buddy list who use Awaken. The feedback is very valuable and I wanted to extend the reach by offering a way for those interested to get involved.

Just thought I’d use this to communicate across 2 feature requests.
1. Be able to set playlist to repeat when editing an alarm.
2. Option to force playback through speakers, even if headphones have accidentally been left in.

@Piers: Good idea.
Number two would certainly save my backside next time. I missed the alarm 4 times up till now, so if indead there is a way to force it, please do it, Jerry.

Hi Guys, unfortunately that is a hard-wired restriction that cannot be changed via software. You can witness this effect by opening the “Output” tab in the Sound System Preferences. Plug and unplug your headphones and watch the list. I’ve checked with Apple on this in the past - but I’ll check in again to get a more up to date response.

I love the way full screen looks, both in sleep timer, and alarm.. what i would really like to see is a way to use the full screen like an itunes visualizer. Cause, i love just listening to music when i’m at home, and it would be awesome to look up at the screen and see the album art and a big CLOCK right there. just like in the sleep fullscreen (minus the countdown)
currently what i do is just choose sleep, and put in some ridiculous number like 12 hours…. the only problem is i don’t need/want to see the 12hour countdown.. all i want is the song info and a jumbo clock (and date) so when i’m across the room listening to a playlist i can look up at a glance and see what song is playing and then realize i’m late for school ;]
basically all i use my computer for is a big jukebox/clock. haha :]
thanks :]
