I travel frequently (with my macbook) and would like to use Awaken as my alarm clock. This would be easier if there were a way to tell Awaken that I am in a different timezone from the system timezone setting. I do not want to futz with the timezone setting on my macbook so I have to calculate the alarm time and enter an adjusted value into Awaken. It would be much more convenient if I could tell Awaken that I am currently in timezone X and have it do the right thing (including displaying the current time for the timezone I specify).

Also, is there a way to specify the volume of the alarm or music? I was just trying Awaken out on a trip and carefully adjusted the system volume before going to bed. When the alarm went off the volume was back up to "blaring".

Thanks.

I would buy Awaken if it would play music from my external hard drive. I have a laptop (MBP) and store all music on an eternal HD. This would be the perfect alarm clock if this could happen. Thanks.

Can you have an option to choose one the many icons you've had in the past few weeks for the menu bar. It's nice to get updates but I liked the alarm clock looking icons instead of the newest circle with clock hands. It was much less dark and I think it matched leopard better.

I'm sure you've already got it on the list, Jerry, but two great features would be:

1) Skip next alarm from the menubar icon
2) Have Awaken play a video as the alarm

I haven't tried to make the latter happen, so maybe that's already possible!

hey jerry,

im having a probem with awaken. when i check the sleep mac option for the sleep timer, my computer does not wake from sleep and my alarm does not go off. another thing - right now i have it so the music comes in first, and after 5 mins the alarm goes off. the problem is that the music continues to play while the alarm is going off and it drownds it out. is there any way to make it so the music stops playing when the alarm starts? thanks.
