Am I to assume from the design that this release will be Leopard compatible? (The Leopard dock at the top of the page, and the Leopard grass desktop)

Awaken is Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard compatible as it is right now
We’ll be adding some unique Leopard features once we get closer to October as well. Lots more to come in the meantime. One of the reasons for the site redesign was to handle future apps coming among other things.
Here is a link to the full-size version of the new site:

Thanks for the quick response, Jerry. Good to hear there’ll be some more apps from you soon as well! If they’re near as beautiful and functional as this one, I’m sure you’ll have another winner on your hands. Any hints as to what the new apps will do???

No hints yet - we’re also planning on developing a game and some web apps for the iPhone - exciting times ahead

Wow, I like that a whole lot more than the current site! The main image on the current design always struck me as too busy and didn’t let my eye flow through the page properly, this new design is so clean and simple it immediately grabs my attention and brings my focus to where it should
! Very nice.
Really looking forward to seeing any new apps Jerry, as Andrew said, if they’re as well done as Awaken it’ll be awesome!

Beautiful! I love the site design, great job.
I already use Awaken with Leopard and so far it’s been 100% compatible. And thank God for that, there was no way I could get up in the morning without my “Wake Up!!” playlist :p
Awaken is such a great app, thanks for your time in developing it. There really aren’t any improvements I could think of that you guys haven’t done. My only wish I think would be that it be possible to have the alarm window hidden when it goes off. Hardly an annoyance, just something I think would help make awaken eevn more integrated.

Hi Brian,
I can add a preference to let you set the Awaken window to be hidden, but if the window is hidden - wouldn’t that make it more difficult to snooze or stop the alarm? Let me know your thoughts about this.

I never snooze, I just pick up the Apple Remote beside my bed and press the Play/Pause button. And I was just talking about the application window, like how after a full screen alarm is stopped, it disappears, but the Awaken application window pops back up. It really isn’t too big of a deal though :p

P.S. Awaken works perfectly (actually, better than before) on the newest Leopard build 9A499

Hey Jerry, getting back to the mini-feature request discussion taking place before, is it possible for you to add a feature so that when the alarm’s going off in the morning, hitting any key will stop it. It’d just make it that bit easier to switch it off early in the morning.

Hey man what happened? Where you at?

Hey Jerry the site looks great! I am anxiously awaiting the next release of Awaken. Is there a status report, it’s been over a month..
