Thanks Jerry
The “Enable alarms when Awaken is not running” preference still doesn’t stay selected when I choose it.
Everytime I open Awaken it has been deselected which mean that everytime I close awaken it warns me.

I’ve got the same issue with “Enable alarms when Awaken is not running”, although Awaken plays the alarms even if I quit Awaken. Selecting this option also results in AwakenHelper added to login items, so actually it works it just doesn’t stay selected.
On my iBook G4 this options stays selected but on my iMac C2D it doesn’t.

Love the new icons, especially the green bought items playlist icon.
Keep up the good work.

@Bart - thanks for the additional information on that bug. I’ll be looking into it tonight. Let me know if you use an IM client like iChat, MSN, or Google Talk. If you do I’d like to be able to contact you to test the fix before it is published - same goes to Torben above. I look forward to solving this today

Hi
Just discovered Awaken and I am very impressed - the best looking, best integrated and best featured iTunes Alarm I have yet seen - and I have been waiting for a decent thing for years!
Only thing is that it will not power on my Mac. There are other alarm apps out there that do this, and that I own.
As far as I am concerned this is a crucial feature - I dont want my computer asleep through-out the night, I want it turned off.
Yup, I know it can be done by combining the Energy Saver and Awaken but for it to be a top spec alarm you need to build it in. And why would I spend money on this app when there are other free apps out there that already have this feature?
Sorry but until you incorporate this feature I will not be purchasing - but I absolutely guarantee that I will buy if you build this in.
Thanks and continued success with the great app.

Thanks Jerry - I will keep my eye out for it. And, as I said, you will have another customer once it is out!
All the best.

I love this app!
I was wondering if it could support enhanced podcast chapters. All keystrokes seem to move to the next song/podcast, but no option for *next chapter* of an enhanced podcast.
I could see not cluttering the slick main alarm page with a next chapter arrow, but can it support the next chapter iTunes keystroke (shift-command-rightarrow)? I use a Keyspan Remote to control everything, and programing this keystroke currently takes it to the next song/podcast, not the next chapter.
I’d love this feature, but it’s a great app as is! Thanks!
