Wake up to mornings you look forward to
Awaken wakes you gently, on your terms: to your favorite music, a calming nature sound, a spoken message about the day ahead, or a haptic rhythm you choose. Then it stays on your nightstand as a beautiful always-on clock, with a sleep timer for drifting off and countdown timers for everything in between.
Your music, your morning
Wake to any song, album, artist or playlist from Apple Music or your own library. When the alarm rings, the album art fills the screen with the track name and artist, and you can skip back or ahead without leaving bed.
Turn on shuffle for albums and playlists, and pick a backup sound that plays whenever Awaken isn’t open.
Hear what today holds
Add a note to any alarm, like “Big presentation at 10”, and Awaken shows it on the wake screen and reads it aloud in the voice you choose. Repeat it every few minutes until you’re up.
Pair it with one of 13 haptic patterns, from a soft pulse to a relentless alarm bell, and snooze on your own terms with a custom duration and limit.
A clock worth waking up to
Keep Awaken open overnight and it becomes a stunning always-on clock with the date and your next alarm. It can dim itself after a while so it never lights up the room.
8 clock styles, 18 color themes
Touch and hold the clock to customize it. Swipe the clock to move through Digital, Flip, Segment, Neon Sign, Marquee Bulb, Blueprint, Constellation and Bloom, and swipe the background to try every theme, from Sunrise and Aurora to Miami and Cherry Blossom.
Every theme tints the whole app, so your alarms, timers and settings match the clock you picked.
No more jolting awake
Fade In raises the alarm volume and the screen brightness together over up to five minutes, so the room brightens like a sunrise while your music builds.
Drift off to your music
Choose a song, album, artist or playlist, set how long it should play, and fall asleep to it. The clock shows what’s playing and counts down, then the music stops on its own.
Run as many timers as you need
Name your timers, start several at once, and pause, resume or restart any of them. Each one counts down live on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, and rings even when Awaken is closed.
Turn on Read Label and Awaken says the timer’s name when it ends, so you know the pasta is ready without looking.
Made for every pose of iPhone Duo
Awaken fully supports iPhone Duo. Folded, the cover screen shows the full clock, your alarms and your timers. Unfold it and the large inner display spreads your alarms and timers into a grid, with a bigger clock and wake screen.
Turn any iPhone sideways and Awaken follows, from the clock on your nightstand to the alarm editor.
A nightstand clock that fills the screen
On iPad, the clock and the wake screen grow to fill the display, and your alarms and timers spread into a grid that adjusts as the window changes size, in Split View and Stage Manager too.
Your alarms, right in the menu bar
On Mac, Awaken lives in the menu bar with the same clock styles, alarms, sleep timer and timers. It can play alarms through any speaker, AirPlay speakers included, and switch back when the alarm ends.
Add the free AwakenHelper and your Mac wakes from sleep at alarm time, so your alarm still rings.
